International Gay & Lesbian Football Association

The IGLFA was founded in 1992 – today, after 17 years, over 80 teams from more than 20 countries from all over the world have become part of this organization.

The IGLFA is no longer an Association who exclusively organizes an International tournament each year, it is also involved in many other activities.  This includes supporting local organizations like clubs and teams as well as heading the sports coordination of football at the "Federation of Gaygames" .

Through our “Outreach” program, we have been able to help teams from Africa and Latin America as well as from Eastern Europe to participate at our tournaments.
